Short Biography Anubhav is a graduate student pursuing his Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He graduated from the University of Mumbai, India in Spring 2021 with a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering. His current research interests are in the analysis, design and optimization of electric powertrains for aircraft applications & wind turbines.

Joshua Feldman

Short Biography Josh Feldman is a fifth-year graduate student pursuing his PhD in Electrical Engineering. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2019 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and in December 2021 with a M.S. in Electrical Engineering. His research focus is cryogenic cooling of electric aircraft propulsion motors. He is co-advised with Prof. Nenad Miljkovic in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering

Anjana Samarakoon

Short Biography Anjana graduated from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2018 with a BS in Electrical Engineering. After graduation he joined the department of Electrical Engineering of University of Moratuwa as a Temporary Lecturer. He is a third-year graduate student at UIUC. His focused area is insulation reliability of electrical machines. Other research interests are renewable energy generation and storage.

Yaokun Shi

Short Biography Yaokun is a first year graduate student pursuing an M.S. in computer engineering. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in spring of 2022 with a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. His research focuses on low-field, handheld MRI systems.

Mudith Witharamalage

Short Biography Mudith is a first-year PhD student at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering UIUC, with research interests in electrical transportation, electromagnetism, and electrical machines. He enjoys working on multidisciplinary projects and values diverse collaborations. Prior to joining UIUC, he graduated from the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, in 2023 with a BSc in Electrical Engineering.

Short Biography Brian is a first year graduate student pursuing an M.S. in electrical engineering. He graduated with a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois in spring of 2022. His research interests include the design and thermal management of electric machines and power electronics for automotive and aerospace applications.
